This two date event offers Brownies and Juniors the opportunity to visit our campus for an evening of health education. Choose a program, learn from our health educators, experience our teaching theater exhibits and earn a badge.

Healthy Hearts explores how the body benefits from exercise. Girl Scouts will learn how exercise strengthens the heart, lungs, bones, muscles and other body systems. Through active participation, scouts will learn about the components of physical fitness.
* PRACTICE WITH PURPOSE BADGE
Fuel for Thought explores healthy food and drink choices by investigating the “who, what, when, where, why and how” of good nutrition. Through fun and engaging activities, this program highlights the essential nutrients.
* SIMPLE MEALS BADGE

True Colors: You Make a Difference teaches basic personality traits, the need to accept and value people different from oneself, defining and improving communication and team building. This program also covers how to identify bullying and how to prevent bullying.
* MAKING FRIENDS BADGE
Fueling My Special Body helps to build the connection between nutrition, MyPlate and good health for students. With a focus on the basic function of the major organs of the digestive system, Girl Scouts will learn how the body processes and uses food.
* MY BEST SELF BADGE
Sensational explores the five senses in this “sense-ational” program. Interactive activities will help the Girl Scouts to learn how the senses work, how they protect us and how we can protect them.
* SENSES BADGE
The cost is NOW FREE! The event includes dinner, the program and an event patch. Note that you will need to purchase the earned badge after the programming. Pre-registration is required. Deadline to register HAS BEEN EXTENDED to March 25th.
