On behalf of the York County SPCA, I am honored to be a partner with the Byrnes Health Education Center.  Understanding the link between how we treat animals and how we treat one another is a very important tool in teaching compassion and empathy in our society.  I value the opportunity to reach our community through our relationship with the Byrnes Center and speak about the importance of treating all living things with dignity and kindness.

The Byrnes Health Education Center is an organization created through the efforts of thousands of community volunteers. From our humble beginnings in 1988 to our recent accomplishment of reaching over 7 million people around the globe, we continue to rely on the time and talent of volunteers to help us achieve our mission.
